Q: If you received your code as an e-mail attachment and you are running Windows 10

A:

  • Save it as a file on your Desktop.
  • Run START / MASTERCAM DIRECTORY / HASPX.
  • Verify that the Serial Number displayed matches the Serial Number in the attachment name.
    (Note: the parallel HASP is white, a USB HASP is purple)

Note: You may also just double-click the file on the desktop to activate.

Q: If you received this code as an e-mail attachment and are running Windows 7 or 8.

A:

  • Save it as a file on the Desktop where you currently have your SIM attached.
  • Run START / PROGRAMS / MASTERCAM X / HASPX UTILITY
  • Press the UPDATE CODE FILE button.
  • Select the file that you just saved.
  • Press the UPDATE button.
  • Press the OK button to exit.

Q: If you received this code as an e-mail attachment and are updating on your server (Nethasp).

A:

  • Save it as a file on the Desktop of your host computer (your server or where you currently have your SIM attached).
  • Run START / PROGRAMS / MASTERCAM X / NHASPX UTILITY on the computer where the NetHASP is attached.
  • Make sure that the SIM TYPE is set to NetHASP and the Mode is set to Local.
  • Press the UPDATE CODE FILE button.
  • Select the file that you just saved.
  • Press the UPDATE button.
  • Press the OK button to exit.
